When using a carbide drill bit for drilling, the drilling efficiency is high, and the maximum hole diameter can reach φ 65mm. Equipped with the KND 1000 CNC system and 4 CNC axes, the PHD2020G achieves a positioning accuracy of 0.08mm/full travel and repeatable positioning accuracy of 0.04mm/full travel. The X/Y axes (2000mm stroke each) and Z axis (550mm stroke) work in harmony to process large workpieces with consistent hole spacing and depth, eliminating human error and ensuring uniform quality.

Super Large Workpiece Clamping Capacity

The hydraulic self-centering chuck can securely hold workpieces with diameters ranging from φ500mm to φ2000mm and heights up to 500mm. This design is tailored for large flanges, tube plates, and baffle plates in boilers and pressure vessels, providing stable clamping during high-speed drilling and preventing workpiece displacement.

High-Speed Drilling with 65mm Max Diameter

Powered by a 22KW spindle motor, the BT50 spindle supports speeds from 30r/min to 3000r/min. Using high-speed carbide drills, it achieves a maximum drilling diameter of φ65mm, while twist drills handle up to φ50mm. The carbide drilling depth reaches ≤8d (d=drill diameter), enabling deep-hole processing for thick-walled components—all with fast feed rates (4m/min Z-axis speed) to boost productivity.

Dual Cooling System (Inner + Outer)

The integrated inner cooling (2.0MPa) + outer cooling system ensures efficient heat dissipation during drilling. Inner cooling delivers coolant directly to the drill tip, reducing tool wear and chip adhesion, while outer cooling protects the workpiece surface. This dual design extends tool life by 30% and improves hole precision, even for long-duration processing.

Efficient Plate Chain Chip Conveyor

A dedicated plate chain chip conveyor (0.75KW motor, 1m/min speed) quickly removes metal chips from the working area, preventing chip accumulation and tool damage. The conveyor’s robust design handles high-volume chip production, maintaining a clean workspace and enabling continuous operation without manual intervention.
